MedXL Appoints Gilles Asselin as Middle East Export Manager
MONTREAL CANADA, MAY 27, 2011 - MedXL inc. announced today that Mr. Gilles Asselin (gasselin@medxl.com) has been appointed to the position of Middle East export manager for the company. Mr. Asselin will be responsible for business development in the Middle East and GCC States.
Mr. Asselin has extensive experience in international business development. Prior to his most recent position as an independent consultant for International Business Development, he served as Director of Business Development at the Business Development Bank of Canada, was Director General of a medium sized retail company located in Monterrey Mexico and most importantly was vice president of international sales and marketing for a large medical products company located in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Mr. Asselin has extensive knowledge of the Middle Eastern markets including forging strategic alliances. Alliances with strategic partners are important success factors in these markets.
Mr. Asselin received a bachelor’s degree in Arts followed by a degree in Business Administration (Finance option) and a Master’s of Business Administration degree (International Business Management option) from the University of Laval in 1996.
